In a groundbreaking presentation at the Artificial Intelligence Forum & Innovation Kopitiam event hosted by Akademi Sains Malaysia (ASM), Pandai took centre stage to share insights into their AI implementation and technology roadmap within the Pandai application. Akmal Akhpah, one of the co-founders and CTO of Pandai, also gave an inspiring speech about the future of AI during the event that took place on the 27th of November 2023.
ASM President, Datuk Dr Tengku Mohd Azzman Shariffadeen commenced the session by highlighting the importance of blending technological advancements with human-centric design principles. He emphasised that although AI can handle large amounts of data, human wisdom is essential for utilising its capabilities effectively.
The AI Forum, led by Associate Professor Dr Nurfadhlina Mohd Sharef, head of YSN-ASM, featured distinguished speakers from Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), WorldRemit, and Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). The forum provided a platform for Pandai to showcase their innovative use of artificial intelligence for educational purposes.
Representing Pandai, Akmal started his speech by explaining the company’s visionary approach to AI implementation in the Pandai app. He highlighted how AI is transforming education, showcasing how Pandai is changing the way students learn.
The audience got an exclusive look at Pandai’s future plans for their app. The roadmap highlighted upcoming features and advancements within the application, demonstrating the company’s dedication to staying at the forefront of educational technology. Topics such as personalised learning, adaptive assessment, and interactive AI-driven content creation were discussed.
