Pandai Brings Home the Zohari Challenge Trophy: A Triumph for Malaysia

Pandai has achieved a monumental victory by winning the Zohari Challenge Trophy at the first-ever WITSA World Cup. This event was part of the 28th World Congress on Innovation and Technology (WCIT) 2024, hosted in Yerevan, Armenia. Competing against other top tech innovators from around the world, Pandai emerged as the champion, marking a proud moment for Malaysia on the global stage.

Pandai’s Journey to Victory

The road to winning the WITSA World Cup began with national selections, following a pledge by 19 countries at WCIT|IDECS 2023. After a rigorous process, 16 teams from eight countries advanced to the finals. Two Malaysian teams made it to the grand stage, but it was Pandai that captured the top honor, bringing the Zohari Challenge Trophy home. The trophy was sponsored by The Right Honourable Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Dr. Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari bin Tun Datuk Abang Haji Openg, Premier of Sarawak, and was formally presented during the IDECS launch event​
